It was high tide with no beach off the cliff when we got there, so spent a couple of hrs with the kids in the rock pools, A guy from west country watersports was paddle boarding for a while.
Once the tide dropped a few got on, i opted for 5.7m & big board as wind was up & down, what an ace sail, head high sets with cross shore wind & sunshine, afew jumps on the way out ,went for 2 backloops & picking up swell way out & riding it all the way to the beach getting 2 bottom an top turns in. almost made a helitack as well.had 2 hrs of this, with 5 out, 1 guy on one of those Kona type longboard things with no footstraps, it looked good fun but slow.
It was a really fun session, nothing manic just big smiles from waveriding at 1 of britains top spots
